Description: Construction of a 300' three span curved composite girder bridge over 3 tracks of Metro North Railroad. Work consisted of approx. 3,700 LF of steel H piles, approx. 800 CY structural concrete, setting of 6 sets of structural steel girders total weight approx. 550,000 lbs. Installation of insulated water & sewer line under the bridge, forming & pouring approx. 11,000 SF concrete deck slab. Placement of approx. 1,200 CY of lightweight fill. Demolition of existing 210' 5 span steel structure. Incidental work included road work misc. pipe work, lighting fixtures, temporary steel sheet piling, guide rail & signing.
